Acupressure for stress & sleep problems – calm the nervous system

When stress becomes chronic, sleep suffers – and with sleep, health. In TCM, sleep disorders and chronic stress are understood as signs of an overactive mind (Shen) and blocked energy. Acupressure can help regulate the nervous system.

How stress and sleep are connected

Chronic stress keeps the sympathetic nervous system permanently active. The body stays in alert mode – falling asleep becomes harder, staying asleep nearly impossible. In TCM, this is described as overactive Yang and weakened Yin. Acupressure can restore this balance and guide the body back to rest mode.

FAQ – Acupressure for Stress
