If you feel: "I'm constantly tense, my neck hurts and I can't switch off anymore" – then that's your sign to take time for yourself.
What is acupressure?
Acupressure: Deep relaxation without needles
A tradition over 5,000 years old meets gentle touch: acupressure uses the fundamental knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), but works exclusively with the hands. Instead of needles, you feel precise, soothing pressure on specific points of your body.
When energy stagnates
According to TCM philosophy, life energy – Qi – flows through a complex network of twelve main meridians. Along these pathways lie over 360 acupressure points. Stress, poor posture or emotional challenges can block this natural energy flow. Your body often signals this imbalance through tension, pain or restless nights.
The path back to your centre
With targeted, mindful impulses on the right pressure points, these blockages are released. Energy flows again and self-healing powers are naturally activated. The result is profound recovery that brings body and mind back into harmony.
Three Effects
What acupressure does in your body
Stress relief & relaxation
Targeted pressure on acupressure points can release endorphins and promote deep, lasting relaxation – both physical and emotional.
Pain relief
Can improve circulation, release muscle tension and stimulate the release of pain-relieving neurotransmitters.
Energy & Vitality
Can harmonise Qi flow in the meridians, reduce fatigue and enhance overall well-being.

- Regulate digestion & build energy – Bring the digestive system into balance
- Improve sleep & find calm – Calm the nervous system, sleep more restfully
- Relieve the back & strengthen the nervous system – Release tension along the spine
- Treat headaches & gain clarity – Resolve tension headaches at the source
What happens during a session?
Medical history: We discuss your complaints, your daily routine and how you feel. I use tongue and pulse diagnosis – classic TCM methods that give me important clues about your energetic state.
Treatment: You lie comfortably and clothed on the treatment table. I apply targeted pressure to acupressure points along the meridians. The pressure is noticeable but not painful – and is individually adjusted.
During the session: Many feel a warm flow, tingling or deep heaviness – signs that blockages are releasing. It's normal if you fall asleep.
Afterwards: Drink plenty of water and allow yourself to rest. The effect often lasts several days and intensifies with regular sessions.
Acupressure for the soul
In TCM, body and mind are inseparably connected. Each organ relates to specific emotions: suppressed anger manifests as neck tension (liver meridian), worry burdens digestion (stomach meridian), grief weakens breathing (lung meridian), fear manifests as back pain (kidney meridian).
Acupressure helps to recognise and release these emotional patterns – not through conversation, but through working with your body. This makes it a valuable complement to psychotherapy or coaching.

Expert opinions
What science says
In a major study at Charité Berlin with 221 women, over half were able to halve their menstrual pain with acupressure within six months – while simultaneously requiring fewer painkillers.
Acupressure is no longer considered merely an "alternative" method, but a scientifically investigated, effective self-treatment for pain – easy to apply and very well combinable with massage.
Complementary treatment
Massage for physical relaxation
For tension, back pain or simply deep recovery: the massages complement acupressure perfectly – physically releasing what was treated energetically.
